Tiny Bit Adventures

Fang the Fox

Five stolen Embers, 24 floating islands and one very determined fox.

The Sky Isles are sinking.

Fang wakes up from a nap and something feels wrong. The whole island is tilting toward the dark below. The five Embers that keep Grandma Ember’s Hearth burning have been stolen, and without them the Sky Isles are falling.

Win them back from five bosses: the Goo King, the Ancient Guardian, the Ice Colossus, the Volcanic Dragon and Rotheart. Relight the Hearth, then follow the rift all the way down to the Primordial.

What you’ll find.

  • 24 areas across forests, crystal caves, ancient ruins, frozen peaks, volcanoes, an enchanted glade and the Void.
  • Turn-based adventuring on a grid. Move, bump into monsters to attack and eat fish to heal.
  • Level ups with a choice of perks, from Fire Spin to Second Wind.
  • Puzzles with braziers, push blocks, pressure plates, sliding ice and crumbling paths.
  • Friends along the way: Grandma Ember, Hoot the owl, Rudy’s gem shop, Lumen and the Fairy Queen.
  • Five lost kits to find and bring home, and 20 relics hidden across the islands.
  • The whole Tiny Bit Adventures album as the soundtrack.

How to play.

Arrow keys or WASD move, attack and talk. F eats a fish. Space uses Fire Spin once you learn it. P or Esc opens the map, your quest and the options, where you can set music and sound volume and turn off screen shake or flashes. On a phone or tablet, play full screen and use the on-screen pad. Your progress saves as you go.

From clay to pixels.

The first Fang the Fox was a 2022 prototype: a plain board, a stats panel and a fox who could pick up items and fight. Read where it started and how it was rebuilt.
