Rollerbot Play full screen

It powers up first.

It starts as a pencil drawing taped to the wall: a robot with tall ears, a screen for a face and circuits all over, standing on rollerskates next to a patchwork cat made of stitches and gears. Every piece of his gear is labeled. Watch it get drawn and labeled, then watch the circuits light up. The two of them peel off the paper and color themselves in.

Skate the bugs off the wall.

Bugs are chewing their way through the wall: ladybugs, flies, stink bugs that spit goo and blue beetles with hard shells. He keeps rolling on his rollerskates, grinds along the rails, shoots the laser gun and swings the sword when a bug gets close. The laser pointer on his missile launcher locks on before each missile flies, and the cat pounces on anything the red dot touches. Every fourth wave, a big beetle charges in. Hold up the shield and it bonks right into it. Your best score is saved in your browser.

How to play.

  • Left and right arrows to skate. He keeps rolling, so plan your stops.
  • Up or Space to jump, and press it again in the air for a rocket jump.
  • Z shoots the laser. Up close it swings the sword instead. Hold it to keep going.
  • X fires a missile. You get three, and they recharge.
  • Down holds up the shield. It blocks goo and bugs in front of him. P pauses.
  • On a phone or tablet, use the buttons on the screen.
